According to Fanhouse.com, Skip Holtz has accepted the head coaching position at USF. Sure, he presented many valid points for being interested in the Bulls but when you are a god in Greenville, why would you want to leave? Vent your frustration in the comment section below. Two questions: who are we going to get as a head coach and how bad will this affect our recruits' decisions? UNC already scooped up a UT recruit after Kiffin got off of the Rocky Top.

According to reports Skip Holtz is emerging as the top candidate for the University of South Florida. The job became open after USF concluded in an investigation that Jim Leavitt slapped a walk-on player. While there are conflicting accounts to what really happened the fact remains Leavitt is out and the coaching carousel stops at an all too familiar place for Pirate fans, Greenville, NC.

According to ESPN, and many other local sources, Skip Holtz has turned down the head coaching job at Cincinnati. Butch Jones, the former head coach at Central Michigan, will be announced as the new Cincinnati head coach later today.

After the Pirates' victory over UAB this past weekend and a loss by SMU, the Pirates now control their own destiny on the road to the C-USA Championship. If ECU is able to earn a W this weekend against Southern Miss, ECU would win their division of C-USA and host Houston in the conference championship game at Dowdy Ficklen on December 5th. However, Southern Miss is no easy test.

Lou Holtz , the father of our beloved ECU football coach, has met with top Republicans in Washington DC and is supposedly considering a run for Congress in Central Florida. The 72 year old Hall of Fame coach and current ESPN analyst is interested in challenging first-term U.S. Rep. Suzanne Kosmas, D-New Smyrna Beach.
