David Garrard to throw out first pitch at the Carolina Mudcats game on July 27th

On July 27th, David Garrard will be at the Carolina Mudcats' game in Zebulon, NC to throw the first pitch during the pre-game ceremonies. He will also be conducted an autograph session which will be the perfect time for Pirate fans to get memorabilia signed by an East Carolina icon. Let's paint their stadium purple that night and show Garrard the support of the East Carolina fan base!

The First Annual “Old Spice Chris Johnson Football Camp”

During the summer, kids are out of school and have plenty of free time on their hands. You see them riding bikes around the neighborhood or hanging out by the pool or just doing something to take up all the time they didn't have during the school year. All of this free time can lead to time-consuming activities that are not always productive to society. In an effort to curb some of these non-productive activities, the NFL and its teams have set up youth programs and camps during the summer where kids have the chance to spend part of their summer (1-3 days) with professional athletes while learning the fundamental skills that helped the professional athletes get to the NFL.

On June 20, 2009, Mayor Bill Bell of Durham, NC presented David Garrard with a key to the city for his incredible representation of the city and for pretty much just being genuinely good guy.
