TOGETHER WE STAND AND DIVIDED WE FALL!

I am sure I don't stand alone when I say I am a little frustrated with the Pirates performance over the past six games. But as great leaders always do, Terry Holland has taken a stance and made it well known that Pirate Nation must stand together and remain confident and supportive of our team. ECU has given the go ahead for a 7,000 east endzone expansion beginning this upcoming December. The Dowdy-Ficklen stadium expansion has been much talked about and much anticipated over the past year. Old Dominion & ISP Sports team up with ECU Football to help with away games…

The Pirates have a new badass 18-wheeler to haul the football gear around the country for away games. Thanks to Old Dominion Freight Lines and ISP Sports for sponsoring the truck. That “Ray of Sunshine” Moment

Unbelievably, one other thing I learned from Coach Emory was how to let myself be loved. . I have to admit, I loved this man. He would often say, “Ahhh, if I can’t put my hands on ya, I can’t coach ya. I’m jus’ showing ya I love ya.” Knowing that he was showing me “love” helped ease the pain I experienced each time he jerked my by the face mask when I missed a block in practice. It felt good to be loved. Tough-loved. -A story from former East Carolina football player Bob Alexander

With the growth of the ECU facilities come many consequences. Some see them as good, others see them as bad (I guess that all depends on whether you parked in the softball field lot last year).
