Skip’s Yard Sale

Since Skip Holtz stepped away from ECU and our Purple and Gold, many have wondered and asked, what in the world did he do with all his Pirate gear? Well, after a little shopping trip earlier today I have found the answer.

Good Tidings To You Fellow Pirates

The 200YTL crew would like to wish you all Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year. This past year, Pirate Nation has been stronger than ever. Even in the face of adversity, we have continued to stand strong and have all hands on deck. We have received many early holiday gifts from our football team included a C-USA championship, an invitation to the 2010 Autozone Liberty Bowl and the great news that Skip feels Greenville is the place for him for the next few years.

Pirate Out and Black Out…two classic mistakes…

As many of you have heard, there has been much talk about a Pirate Out (everyone dress up like a pirate) and a Black Out (everyone wear black) for the Virginia Tech game on Nov. 5. I have many questions and concerns about this.

TOGETHER WE STAND AND DIVIDED WE FALL!

I am sure I don't stand alone when I say I am a little frustrated with the Pirates performance over the past six games. But as great leaders always do, Terry Holland has taken a stance and made it well known that Pirate Nation must stand together and remain confident and supportive of our team. Below is a message from him sent out today regarding Pirate expectations and maintaining unity and resolve.

ECU Homecoming: 100 Years of Treasured Traditions

There really is no better time to head to Greenville for a football game than Homecoming (unless we land home field for the Conference USA championship). I can't wait. I have spoken to a lot of my friends that are setting up big plans for the game. We are all getting prepared to stir-fry Rice.
