Since Skip Holtz stepped away from ECU and our Purple and Gold, many have wondered and asked, what in the world did he do with all of his Pirate gear? Well, after a little shopping trip earlier today, I have found the answer.
If you live in or around Greenville you may have heard of a consignment store called Twice is Nice. This store is located just off Arlington Blvd. halfway between Greenville Blvd. and Evans St. Skip and his wife, Jennifer, took their clothes to this consignment store where they have been flying of the shelves for the past week. I, myself, am now the lucky owner of a Robert Talbott $135 purple tie that Skip once wore. Don’t even begin to think I paid $135 for it. Each of his purple and gold ties are being sold for $16.95. Not too bad of a deal.

God…if I only still lived in Greenville..my ECU wardrobe would be looking so much better…
I bet there were some sick warm-ups out there.
What piece of clothing would you like to have the most and why?

Not a single piece, because I have more class than he does. He can keep his old digs or donate them, but I’ll be damned if I give money for his sheep’s clothing.

Not what you guys are thinking. Jennifer took them up there and the clothing is being sold for charity. The owner of the shop will tell you that. But, haters will be haters. Business is business, both sides got a plenty out of the Skip era, say thanks and lets begin the Ruff era…otherwise you just become the same sad song and dance of “man we miss logan, and lewis, and emory, and stas…got to move on. Let the healing begin.

“Not what you guys are thinking. Jennifer took them up there and the clothing is being sold for charity.”
Still doesn’t change the fact that I don’t want to own his used, soiled clothes.
“But, haters will be haters.”
Serious? Who’s hating? Not hating, just saying I don’t want to own his clothes, regardless of the motives behind selling them. That fact is mutually exclusive from the fact that I think I have more class than him, or the fact that I don’t want to own his clothes.
“Business is business, both sides got a plenty out of the Skip era, say thanks and lets begin the Ruff era…otherwise you just become the same sad song and dance of “man we miss logan, and lewis, and emory, and stas…got to move on.”
Wow; now this is a statement! Who said anything about moving on or business or songs and dances? Sensitive much?
“Let the healing begin.”
Looks like you should start first, as you are way too sensitive to someones lack of desire in purchasing his used clothes…
