Ballin!! Lady Pirates 4-0

For the first time since the 1998-99 season, the Lady Pirates basketball team is 4-0. With a 75-70 win over American, the lady Pirates are taking steps in the right direction to compete with the best in Conference USA. Pirates with a chance to host…

After the Pirates' victory over UAB this past weekend and a loss by SMU, the Pirates now control their own destiny on the road to the C-USA Championship. Bagwell Field looks bad ass right now…

Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium is going to be electric tonight. Not only are the stands going to be stuffed to the brim but we will be looking down onto a new logo on Bagwell Field. If you do not walk into Dowdy-Ficklen tonight around 7:00 p.m. and feel all of the energy inside of you, there must be something wrong with you.

Q&A with GobblerCountry.com

Early last week, the editor over at GobblerCountry.com, furrer4heisman, sent me direct message on Twitter to see if we would be interested in doing an interview exchange between our two blogs. They have a great preview up for the ECU/Virginia Tech game on their site so go check it out. I just tossed together a five random questions that I thought people might want to know about the upcoming game on Thursday and the Virginia Tech football team.

How to smoke a Hokie…

I can't think of a much better feeling then getting off of work a little early and heading out to the parking lots and tailgate fields around Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium to get ready for a Thursday night game on ESPN against the Virginia Tech Hokies. The buzz around Greenville must be incredible as everyone prepares for the big night. Check out the post for some information about parking restriction for tailgating on Thursday and an awesome recipe called "The Smokin' Hokie"...
