After the Pirates' victory over UAB this past weekend and a loss by SMU, the Pirates now control their own destiny on the road to the C-USA Championship. If ECU is able to earn a W this weekend against Southern Miss, ECU would win their division of C-USA and host Houston in the conference championship game at Dowdy Ficklen on December 5th. However, Southern Miss is no easy test.

The ECU men's basketball team is set to take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons at 2:00pm on Sunday, November 15 inside Greensboro Coliseum. This will be a home game for our Pirates and we need to bring as many fans as possible. In order to help paint Greensboro purple on Sunday, we are giving away free tickets to the game. I can't think of a much better feeling then getting off of work a little early and heading out to the parking lots and tailgate fields around Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium to get ready for a Thursday night game on ESPN against the Virginia Tech Hokies. The buzz around Greenville must be incredible as everyone prepares for the big night. Check out the post for some information about parking restriction for tailgating on Thursday and an awesome recipe called "The Smokin' Hokie"...
