There really is no better time to head to Greenville for a football game than Homecoming (unless we land home field for the Conference USA championship). I can’t wait. I have spoken to a lot of my friends that are setting up big plans for the game. We are all getting prepared to stir-fry Rice.
I got an e-mail today from the East Carolina Alumni Association with a bunch of stuff going on then. Hopefully, it will help you out a little bit while preparing for what you will be doing during that weekend. If you are on Twitter, you should follow them for updates on scheduling for Homecoming.
They have a lot planned for the 100th Homecoming and we are looking forward to getting back in Dowdy-Ficklen because these away games have made us homesick.

Losing to a church team with no one in the stands….. Awful.

Actually ECU didn’t play all that bad. It was the intangible plays that killed us. ECU had 10 more 1st downs, about 148 more rushing yards, 85 less passing, 63 more total yards and about 12 more minutes of possession. Never the less, still a bad loss.

^ And some of these C-USA teams (looking at you SMU, UAB) have very little support. It’s embarrassing to see all those empty seats in the stadium. I’ve seen high school games that are more attended.
Btw, Rice is 0-2, 0-6. Must win.
